Moments of Grace
“But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart” Luke 2:19
It is in the small things that God confirms His will in our lives. The silence of the morning, the beauty of a day, the grace of a moment… We may not hear an audible voice, but God still speaks to the hearts of His children.
Sometimes it is in the simplicity of life that God speaks the loudest. It is those times when I am taken out of the moment and captured by His grace that mean the most to me. A song, a phrase, a moment in time and it is as if God Himself is speaking directly to my heart. I cannot describe it and to even try seems to make it fade…
But just like Mary I keep these things and ponder them in my heart. Cherish the grace.
During this time of year, life seems to speed ahead while my heart longs to just be still.
Lord, help me to find YOU in this time of hustle and bustle. Without You… it is just another day on the calendar. Let me NEVER forget that it is more than the lights and decorations… it is even more than the cute little stories of a baby in a manger. You gave up perfection to find ME!! Help me NEVER forget…
