A Prayer…
More than the air I breathe, Oh Lord, I need You now
I want to feel Your presence as I rise and as I sleep
I want to breathe deep into my soul, the Glory of Your grace and mercy
Your grace is more than I deserve
I am humbled that You know me better than I know myself
You see all the ugliness and yet You call me Your child
You tell me You love me
How can the God of the universe care about one such as I?
More than I will ever deserve…
I am forever changed in Your presence
Help me never take for granted Your mercy
I deserve only death
Yet You give me life everlasting
I drink deeply from Your stream of blessing
I stand in awe of Your glory
And bow to the beauty of Your Holiness
You deserve more than I will ever give
You request only my heart
So here I stand, grateful to be Your child
Use me, Dear Lord
I will go where You send me
I will give my life in service to Your children
My heart belongs to You
Do with me what You will…
